About Us

Madtown Computers, LLC was established as a limited liability company in the Fall of 2000 by Glenn Beyer and Jon Kelling. After working in the IT industry for awhile, we saw a great opportunity to bring Technology to the workplace. Our experiences in working with our customers has allowed us to expand our services to cover more aspects of Information technology. Recently our company has invested resources in the support of Private and Public Cloud Technologies. Again, we see Cloud Base computing as another way for your business to save time, money and valuable resources. We look forward working with you and most importanly meeting your technology needs.

Glenn Beyer

I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and still call it home. During the 1980's, I attended Madison Area Technical College where I received an Associates Degree in Marketing. I then attended the University of Wisconsin Whitewater where I received a BS in Public Policy and Administration with a Minor in Supervison.

My interest in Information Technology began at my first Job with the State of Wisconsin back in 1990. At that time, I was supporting an Optical Imaging System at the Department of Industry & Human Labor Relations.

From 1995 - to present, I have been working under the title of System Network and Software Support Specialist while assisting the WebMaster at the WI. Department of Justice.

The perspectives I have gained while working in IT, have driven me to extend my knowledge and experience to assisting other Businesses in taking advantage of all the latest technologies.

When I'm not working on the business, I enjoy my my favorite hobbies such as fishing for Walleyes on Lake Mendota, Mountain Biking, Backcountry Hiking and Skiing.

Jon Kelling

I have lived around technology for as long as I can remember. Prior to entering high school, I began exploring game programming. By the time I was a freshman in high school, I was working as an assistant teacher for all of my schools computer science and programming courses. In my junior year of high school, I started an internship with the Department of Justice.

During my internship, I developed an interest towards business application development. In under a year, my ideas and hard work had led to the creation of a few new innovative applications--one of which had been displayed at a state technology expo as one of the most innovative and high-tech applications to be designed within the state.

It was at this point that I teamed up with Glenn Beyer to start a business with a focus towards bringing these skills to a broad range of companies.
